Introduction
The Presidential Council of AIDA, on its meeting on 23 April 2019 in Marrakesh decided to revise the name of the Working Party on Financial Lines, first established at the Presidential Council meeting in Warsaw of 11 April 2018, to “Financial Lines & Cyber”. This was better to reflect the ambit of the Working Party’s work and area of concern.
The objective of the Financial Lines and Cyber Working Party is to provide a worldwide platform for practitioners and academics involved and/or interested in financial lines (e.g. D&O insurance, financial institutions professional indemnity, prospectus liability, crime/fidelity insurance, kidnap and ransom, CyberRisks) to share information and to discuss latest developments in that field.
