We were delighted to have Dr Franziska Arnold-Dwyer and Professor Samim Unan to present their talks on the duty of good faith in reinsurance contracts. Professor Unan explained the principle of good faith from civil law countries' perspective. Dr Arnold-Dwyer focused on the duty of good faith in reinsurance contracts. The presentations considered the application of good faith in the context of contractual changes, good faith in the performance of contractual duties, and in relation to claims.
