AIDA Swiss Chapter
The AIDA Swiss Chapter is a committee of the Swiss Association for Third Party Liability and Insurance Law ("Schweizerische Gesellschaft für Haftplficht- und Versicherungsrecht”) which was formed in 1961. Membership to the Swiss Association for Third Party Liability and Insurance Law is open to individuals and organizations with an interest in insurance law. In recent years, individual and academic/student members have involved up to or beyond 400 individuals and corporate members up to or beyond 40 corporations.
The AIDA Swiss Chapter was formed in 2010 by several individuals as an expert committee of the Swiss Association for Third Party Liability and Insurance Law with the goal to enhance the dialogue amongst insurance practitioners, law firms and science with respect to insurance and reinsurance topics. For this purpose, the AIDA Swiss Chapter organizes three to four annual events taking place in Zurich, Switzerland.
Since its formation, the AIDA Swiss Chapter has organized more than 20 events which are regularly attended by 80 to 100 people. AIDA Swiss Chapter events are open to anyone who is interested.

The AIDA Swiss Chapter is an expert committee of the Swiss Association for Third Party Liability and Insurance Law and as such subject to the governance rules of this organization.
